Beth found out about the school when one of its volunteer educational specialists complained on an Abaco Message Board about how expensive it was to send books to Marsh Harbour. She suggested that Yellow Air Taxi would be willing to send any books or educational materials to Marsh Harbour for free.
That was back in early 2004, just when Yellow Air Taxi was getting started. Since then, YAT has sent over three thousand pounds of books, computer equipment, and educational materials for ECC students.
In 2006, Yellow Air Taxi sponsored a raffle during Regatta time, and raised over $7,000 for ECC’s new school building.
